2 lbs. Ground Beef
2-4 Tbl. Worcestershire Sauce (I use 4 because I like it)
2 Tbl. Chili Powder
2 Tbl. Sugar
1/4 tsp. Coriander
1/4 tsp. Cumin
1/4 tsp. Cayenne
2 tsp. Minced Garlic
2 tsp. Salt
1.5 tsp. Pepper
1 tsp. Pepper Sauce (hot sauce, sriracha, etc.)
2 tsp. Oregano
1 tsp. Onion Powder
Brown beef and drain. Add all of the ingredients above and simmer for 10-15 minutes. At this point I usually taste the ground beef to see if I like the flavor. .. If so proceed on, if not I usually end up adding either Worchestershire, Sugar, or Salt until the taste is too my liking.
(Add Later) —————————————————–
2 Cups of Water
2 Bay Leaves
2 -15 oz. Cans of Light Red Kidney Beans (or use a different bean like pintos if you prefer)
1 -28 oz. Can of Crushed Tomatoes (If you don’t have the large 28 oz can you can use 2 – 15 oz.)
1 -15 oz. Can of Diced Tomatoes Drained (I usually skip this because I think the crushed tomatoes are enough).
Bring all of this to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 60 minutes.
