Johanna’s Neopolitan Meatballs

2 lbs ground round chopmeat
1 medium onion, chopped
2 eggs
1/2 cup chopped parsley (full)
2 slices white bread
oregano, basil, salt, pepper
4-5 tbsp grated romano cheese
breadcrumbs (shakes)
oil
3 tbsp sauce (optional)
saute chopped onion in fry pan in a little oil.

Put chop meat in mixing bowl and add spices (using a few shakes of each spice). Put the sauteed onions over chop meat and mix well. Add 2 eggs and soak the bread in a little hot water and add to mixture with your hands. Add Romano cheese and some bread crumbs. If you have sauce – make a well in the meat and add a little sauce. Stir well. Make meatballs and place on foil lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Add to sauce and cook for 20 minutes.
