		<description>Nice Work Barney.  It is a shame that the animals are hungry and find the freshest grass at the edge of the roads.  If you happen to see an animal get hit, and can make contact with the local law enforcement agency, they are happy to let you have it.  It is pretty apparent once you get into the animal, what areas are damaged, but in most cases, you lose a small portion of the edible meat.  This is a great way to add meet to your freezer.</description>

		<description>Went to the farmer&#039;s market yesterday here in Florida to get some fresh, local veggies.  I asked the guy if he grew the stuff and he said he grew the eggplants and the peas.  So I asked where the tomatoes came from and he said, &quot;Tennessee.&quot;  So much for local.  But at least some of the veggies were local.  Baby steps.</description>

I have a friend who served her family beef one night and her 3-year-old son asked, &quot;What was this when it was alive?&quot;  When we eat something, we should know not only what it was when it was alive, but also how it lived.</description>

		<description>I remember the guides frying up a huge amount of bacon and then potatoes (trout in the other skillet) were cooked in the bacon grease by the Blooming Grove or Shehola steams.. and ah yes... The Tomato Wars.. no one believes unless I drag out the slides ! Thanks for the memories</description>
